*Did you know that 16,580 bananas are eaten each week in Boston University dining rooms?

*There is more than 52,000 square feet of bathroom space in Boston University´s largest residences.

*Each year, Mugar Memorial Library, the main research library at Boston University, receives nearly 90,000 requests for assistance at its reference desk.

*The Career Resource Library in the Office of Career Services houses many sources of information for finding jobs, including more than 80,000 job listings and information about local, regional, national, and international internships.

*Sheldon Glashow, Nobel Laureate in physics, joined the faculty of Boston University Fall 2000 with joint appointments in UNI and Physics. other Nobel Laureates include Elie Wiesel, Saul Bellow, and Derek Walcott.
